As the Founder and Managing Director of Avasara, Greg
Stockdale works with owners and operators in the hospitality industry to
indentify opportunities for technology enabled solutions that drive customer
satisfaction and improve profitability.
He has over 17 years experience implementing system
solutions for the hospitality industry. During a 12-year career with
Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, he was responsible for all central and
property-based technology solutions and managed multi-national and
multi-cultural teams across Asia Pacific region.
Greg holds a BA in History from Whitman
College and a Masters degree in
Electronic Commerce from Carnegie
Mellon University.

Chris Knop brings contact centre, customer service and corporate social responsibility leadership
expertise to Avasara's team.
Previously, Chris held the position as Director of Customer Contact Centres for Shangri-la
Hotels and Resorts, overseeing global call centre and CRM operations.
Based in Hong Kong, he held several senior management call centre roles with Shangri-La from 2001-2008, and prior to that managed a conferencing call centre for Worldcom.
Australian born, Chris worked for QANTAS Airways in their Brisbane call centre from 1994-2000. There he was involved in projects ranging across all facets of call centre operations including stints in Sydney and Hobart.
He has built contact centres, run the daily operations, consolidated and centralized them,
and turned cost into profit centres. Chris is certified as a COPC-2000 Standard registered coordinator.

Eric Lam provides project assistance and technical expertise to Avasara and our clients.
Eric previously worked for NEC in their system engineering division supporting some of Macau’s largest hotel and casino companies.
Born in Macau, Eric is a Portuguese national, Macau citizen and trilingual in Cantonese, Putonghua and English. He holds a BSc Honours Degree in Software Engineering having graduated from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom. He also completed his A-level studies in the UK at South Devon College, Torquay.
